Scuba diving never gets old!
Evanne Rothwell, who volunteered at the Aquarium for 12 years and is a lifetime member, has proved that scuba diving never gets old! Evanne is 78 years young and recently completed a PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course in the I&J Ocean Exhibit.

Join us! FNB Beach Clean-up Initiative takes to KZN and WC beaches this Saturday
On 23 September 2023, the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation and First National Bank (FNB) kick off two events as part of the FNB beach clean-up initiative. The organisations have teamed up to host beach cleanups on Milnerton beach in Cape Town and Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve in Durban driven by Adopt A River Eco Solutions.
Ocean lovers are invited to participate along with their family and friends, to bring a bucket and gloves, and lots of beach clean-up energy!
Litchi in the limelight: De Hoop and beyond!
Litchi, a green turtle previously under the care of our team at the Turtle Conservation Centre, has been busy! We have talked about the magic of the De Hoop Marine Protected Area (MPA) and the mystery that it holds regarding how green turtles use this little stretch of ocean.
