What is the penguin experience?

The Penguin Experience gives you the incredible opportunity to meet rockhopper penguins up close in a unique and intimate setting.

This experience:

• Accommodates a maximum of two people.
• Takes place at 08h30 from Tuesday to Sunday.
• Is open to anyone aged 8 years and older.
• Lasts approximately 75 minutes.
• Includes general entry to the Aquarium.

Pricing:

• Adults (18+): R945 per person.
• Children (8 - 17): R760 per person.

What is the diving experience?

Whether you are a qualified diver or have never dived before, our PADI Dive School has something for you.

For uncertified divers, we offer a DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) Experience, which allows you to dive for one day in the incredible I&J Ocean Exhibit at the Two Oceans Aquarium. It’s the perfect way to experience breathing underwater for the first time in a controlled, awe-inspiring environment. Certified divers can dive with the animals in one of our three large-scale exhibits: Choose between our ragged-tooth sharks in the Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Exhibit, stingray’s and turtles in the I&J Ocean Exhibit or endemic sharks and in the Kelp Forest Exhibit. Seeing marine life up close has never been easier!

This course:

• Is available to anyone aged 10 years and older.
• Requires participants to be reasonably healthy.
• Provides a safe, guided introduction to scuba diving.

Pricing:

• DSD - R2 340 per person.

For qualified divers-

• All equipment provided - R1 260 per person.
• Own gear - R950 per person.
