Grades 6 - 12 Shore & Sea Discovery
Embark on an unforgettable two-day marine learning experience with Ocean Campus! Shore & Sea Discovery invites learners to explore the fascinating world of marine life through hands-on activities along our rocky shores and an exciting snorkelling experience through the kelp forests.
Learners will discover the incredible biodiversity of our coastline, explore vibrant tidal pools, learn about ocean conservation, and develop a deeper understanding of the delicate and interconnected marine ecosystems that make our coastline so unique.
Guided by our experienced educators, learners will have the opportunity to observe marine life up close, discover the hidden treasures of the rocky shore, and experience the wonders of the underwater world.
Experience details
- Suitable for: Grades 6-12
- Duration: Two days, including two evening online sessions
- Snorkelling: Windmill Beach (31 January 2027, 10am - 12pm)
- Rocky Shore Explore: Dalebrook Tidal Pool (7 February 2027, 9am - 11am)
- Cost: R1 200 per learner
- Additional accompanying child or adult: R1 000 per person
