The Marine Marvels online course is an exciting opportunity for adults and youth to gain the introductory knowledge they need to begin ocean explorations of their own. Perfect for families!

This fun 4-day course is based on the amazing diversity of life found along the two special oceans around South Africa. It also takes a closer look at two aquatic ecosystems, with a focus on human impacts. Students learn about the adaptations and characteristics of animals such as octopuses, turtles, and sharks to name a few. We also include an excursion to the rocky shore where students get to explore these weird and wonderful animals in their natural habitat. As a bonus, the students are given a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes area of our Turtle Conservation Centre.
