This amazing shot was captured in the tunnel of the beautiful I&J Ocean Exhibit. This tunnel provides visitors with a sense of what it's like beneath the ocean, surrounded by some of the most amazing marine animals.
Did you know:
The I&J Ocean Exhibit holds 1.6 million litres of seawater at a temperature of between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius.
The warmer waters in the I&J Ocean Exhibit are home to numerous subtropical species such as rays, musselcrackers, green sea turtles, indigenous fishes and much more. Visitors watch in awe as enormous rays float above their heads, and impressive musselcrackers swim past. This Exhibit is a truly immersive experience. For a chance to get an even better view: you can scuba dive in this exhibit!

The Two Oceans Aquarium Dive School offers a wide range of PADI-certified scuba and freediving course for all experience levels. Newcomers to the hobby begin with a PADI Open Water Diver Course or PADI Freediver Course. Those who are curious to try scuba diving before committing to a full course can take a PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with us.
