About

Penguin Exhibit

The Penguin Exhibit is home to a colony of African penguins and rescued Northern rockhopper penguins. The penguins share a space with our freshwater species - amphibians like western leopard toads and common platannas, and a small selection of freshwater fish (indigenous and alien) to our Western Cape rivers can also be viewed in several pools. A bird hide, overlooking the rockhopper rookery, offers people a place to sit and relax in this peaceful riverine environment.

Waddle they get up to?

March of the penguins

The Penguin Exhibit is a hub of daily excitement - daily feeding times, surprise waddles as the rockhoppers return from their daily swims, and a chance to meet the animal keepers.
