Please note: Due to the ongoing public health crisis, interactive elements of these exhibits have been temporarily removed. Take a look through a microscope to see marine life like you have never seen before. Then, head to the Skretting Touch Pool and feel shells, plants and animals in your own hands.
The Skretting Touch Pool
Visitors to the Two Oceans Aquarium are always fascinated at the Skretting Touch Pool.
Staffed by part-time volunteers and full-time employees of the Aquarium, a stop at the Touch Pool guarantees some hands-on interaction with kelp, starfish, anemones and … Hermit crabs!
The Skretting Microscope Exhibit
Many of the animals you see at the Cold Water Mosaic Exhibit in the Skretting Diversity Gallery can be seen magnified at the Microscope Exhibit.
This display opens up a new world of delicate tentacles, tube feet, suckers and nippers.
Watch some of the remarkable activities of creatures such as goose barnacles, cushion stars and sea cucumbers as they feed, breathe and even give birth!
