The Two Ocean Aquarium has teamed up with Professional Emergency Care (PEC) to offer certified training to schools, industry and corporates on how to best manage the risks of Covid-19 in the workplace. We provide the incredible setting - with a view of the I&J Ocean Exhibit from The Avenue at the Two Oceans Aquarium (our new, versatile venue) - while PEC’s qualified trainers (all registered healthcare providers) will guide you and your team through everything you need to know about the risks of the coronavirus and how to build into your lives and places of work all those essential practices that keep ourselves and those around us safe.

Over the last few months, PEC has run this training for many companies – including ourselves right here at the Aquarium. The information and training sessions have given us a clear message so that everyone knows what the risks are and how best to reduce these risks. This has helped some over-anxious and fearful folks feel calmer and has helped reduce the risks of infection by those who are not too concerned.

Topics covered in this training include information about the virus and how it spreads, how to prevent the spread, the importance of physical distancing, how to sanitise equipment and surfaces, and how to adapt your general logistics to reduce these risks.

The Two Oceans Aquarium will provide the venue and all AV equipment as well as refreshments and stationery. This 2-hour session of Covid-19 certified training costs R350 per person.
