Staff

A small and dedicated staff of approximately 60 supports the Two Oceans Aquarium. Our staff are young, dynamic and passionate about their work in the Aquarium and we regard them as our greatest asset. While we have a small number of marine biologists, we also have people with degrees in architecture, law, education and psychology. It is testimony to the Aquarium that we have attracted and retained such people who are committed to the marine environment.

Under Michael Farquhar's leadership, the Senior Management Team is committed to raising ocean awareness through excellent exhibits, meaningful conservation programmes and innovative education outreach whilst remaining a financially viable and prominent visitor attraction in the Western Cape.
