About Au Pair memberships at the Two Oceans Aquarium

The Two Oceans Aquarium is happy to extend a concessionary rate for au pairs, child minders and nannies as part of our membership offering.

In order for us to provide the best possible service to your child/ren and their caregiver, we require that your au pair presents a letter of employment which states that they are in your employ in the capacity of au pair. This letter should include your name, surname, email address and cellphone number, as well as the name and surname of your employee.

As the parent or legal guardian, we want to stay in touch with you regarding membership renewal notifications and other relevant information. We also want to be able to get hold of you should any emergency situation arise.

As such, the Two Oceans Aquarium requires the au pair’s employer to be the main contact, and the employer will receive our communication. We therefore require your contact details; these will be used to create a parent profile under to which your au pair and your child/ren’s membership profile/s will be linked. From here you can manage their profiles. 

Terms and conditions

  • An Au Pair membership cannot be activated without a letter of employment as described above.
  • In order to take advantage of this special Au Pair rate, the parent/guardian/employer does not need an active membership of their own. However, should the parent/guardian/employer wish to attend exclusive member events or redeem other member benefits in their personal capacity, a membership in the parent/guardian/employer’s name will be required.
  • Au Pair memberships are non-transferable. Should you replace your current au pair or nanny, a new membership will need to be purchased and activated with an accompanying letter of employment specifying the name and surname of your new employee.
  • Should you not wish to link your au pair's membership to your profile, you can purchase an Adult membership for your au pair instead.
