Graphic Designer

The Two Oceans Aquarium is looking for an in-house graphic designer. The position entails the development and implementation of innovative designs for marketing and promotional material, exhibit spaces and special projects including education and conservation work, in line with the Two Oceans Aquarium brand which encompasses the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation. Passion, creativity, curiosity, attention to detail, the ability to juggle broad and diverse sets of business and marketing objectives, and to be able to communicate with many different kinds of audiences, are essential.

Essential requirements are:

  • A diploma in graphic design (minimum)
  • Three years proven experience in graphic design (minimum)
  • Experience in branding, and design
  • Proficiency in design software
  • Experience in work with physical signage and installations

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Layout of advertising and marketing material, signage, décor, and promotional material
  • Coordination of images and artwork
  • Being hands-on with equipment maintenance, stock management and supplier relationships
  • Supervising signage and décor installation

Reporting to: Senior Graphic Designer

Salary: To be discussed at interview

Starting date: 01 April 2025 or sooner. This is a fixed-term contract.
