- Juveniles hide in groups among coral branches
Found on offshore, current-swept coral reefs, swimming a few metres off the bottom at depths from 10 to 30m. Juveniles hide in groups among coral branches or in crevices in the reef and feed on zooplankton. Adults also eat algae.
