Afrisam is a founder partner of the Two Oceans Aquarium. Through AfriSam's ongoing support, we are able to offer engaging arts and crafts activities in the AfriSam Children's Centre. The Centre offers families the opportunity to spend quality time together, enjoying pursuits that encourage innovation and creativity.
A+I Unlimited Design, in Cape Town's trendy Foundry Building in Green Point, offers designs and exclusive furniture from the most renowned brands in Italy. A+I sponsored the designer furniture for our Tranquillity boardroom, a beautiful new venue for small conferences, dinners and events with a maximum of 22 guests. The venue has a floor-to-ceiling window onto the magical Kelp Forest, which lends it an indescribable ambience.
Ocean Basket has partnered with the Aquarium to bring visitors a “soleful” experience at the
Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit. Ocean Basket is a proud SASSI restaurant supporter and has committed to providing its customers with more information about the sustainability of seafood and assisting them to make ocean-friendly choices.
South Atlantic Communications, a Siemens-certified PABX installer, recently installed a full-blown IP-based solution at the Two Oceans Aquarium, making use our existing network. South Atlantic Communications specialise in the Siemens HiPath 1100 and 3000 PABX ranges, and a wide range of peripherals to complement these. They offer a turnkey solution for your communication needs – from recommendation and specification through to installation and maintenance.
Brightweights provides Aquarium divers with innovative weight belts for use in the exhibits, on collection and research trips and for our Adventure Dive Programme. Swim like a fish with Brightweights in the
Kelp, or
I&J Predator, exhibits. Adventure Dives are available for anyone with an Openwater One SCUBA qualification.
Capestorm provides Two Oceans Aquarium aquarists with essential waterproof and outdoor gear for collection and research trips at sea.
In partnership with the
City of Cape Town, the Two Oceans Aquarium opened
Frogs: Beyond the Pond in October 2008. This themed and highly interactive gallery houses displays including the fully-automated “Your Friend the Frog” puppet show.
Eco Paint Solutions markets the B-earth® range of long-lasting, high quality, ecologically safe paints and sealants that are based on co-polymer technology. Eco Paint Solutions kindly reduced the costs of the paint on our roof.
As a founder partner
De Beers Marine has supported us in a variety of educational and conservation projects over the years. With their support we've set up a Jellyfish Laboratory, educated Young & Junior Biologists in hands-on workshops and reached hundreds of learners in the Port Nolloth and Kleinzee areas as part of our Outreach Programme.
Dräger provides the Two Oceans Aquarium with vital technical support and maintains our dive cylinders and equipment. Dräger also assures the safety and quality of the dive cylinders used in our Adventure Dives in the
Kelp Forest and
I&J Predator exhibits.
Eco Acrylics has sponsored several exhibits in the Aquarium, including the highly popular interactive Nemo exhibit in the Oceans of Contrast: Indian Ocean Gallery.
Golden Arrow Bus Services has been a loyal partner to the Aquarium since its inception. Golden Arrow assists in bringing school groups to the Aquarium at discounted rates.
GrandWest CSI supplied and refurbished a specialist vehicle that visits up to 200 school students a day all over the Cape Peninsula. The Aquarium experience is taken to those schools that are unable to come to us. Hands-on activities that uncover the secrets of the deep and encourage conservation are presented by Aquarium outreach staff.

I&J provides essential support to the Aquarium by providing food for the marine life on display. I&J has also recently partnered with the Aquarium to upgrade the children's play centre in the Shoreline Café and to provide themed
kiddies' birthday parties for parents looking for a hassle-free way to entertain their little ones.
Metropolitan Health Group and its subsidiary, Qualsa, sponsor the Think Tank Auditorium just off the
Indian Ocean Gallery. The Auditorium is a state-of-the-art conference facility with spectacular views of the marina and Table Mountain.
Pathcare offers vital support to the Two Oceans Aquarium by providing us with free blood tests to enable us to monitor the health of our penguins. Pathcare also assists us with pathological research.
Reef Wetsuits provides us with high-performance dive equipment to cater for the demands of our everyday work. From wetsuits, hoodies and booties to gloves and bags, Reef Wetsuits and accessories enable our aquarists to look great while getting the job done!
As a founder partner of the Two Oceans Aquarium,
Sappi has contributed to the ongoing development of the
Sappi River Meander exhibit. It has also supported various education initiatives and our Reduce, Recycle and Re-Use Beach Clean-Up.
Project 90 by 2030 is an NGO specialising in energy efficiency and renewable energy (policy and action), which also communicates options for carbon-footprint reduction. Together we have implemented the strategic placement of wind turbines and a grid-connected solar photovoltaic system at the Two Oceans Aquarium.
Two Oceans Wines, the producers of the easy drinking, local house red and house white wines at Shoreline Café, sponsored the designer parasols on the restaurant deck and one of the new self-service fridges in the Shoreline Café.

1time airline is the official animal carrier for the Two Oceans Aquarium. We are fortunate to be able to trust our precious animal cargo to this dedicated, enthusiastic and capable team. Our first sponsored translocation took place on 14 July, enabling the much-loved Wasabi, an endangered green sea turtle, to
relocate to warmer waters at Ushaka Marine World in Durban. Watch this space for more marine creatures taking to the skies for translocation or release, courtesy of 1time airline.

Adopt-a-School supporters
Anchor Environmental Consultants is an independent consulting firm based in Cape Town, South Africa. They offer ecological and economic expertise to empower management and decision makers regarding the use and conservation of natural resources. Their main areas of focus are marine, estuarine and freshwater ecosystems, environmental and resource economics, conservation policy, strategy and planning, and natural resource management. They have sponsored a group of 60 learners to visit the Two Oceans Aquarium in 2011.
I&J brought 300 children to the Aquarium to experience a once-in-a-lifetime day of educational fun.
The
City of Cape Town shows continued support for education, particularly in waste and water management. The City has enabled over 1 500 learners to learn more about the management of our natural resources.
Volkswagen South Africa has brought 360 children to the Aquarium as part of the Adopt-a-School programme.
In addition to maintaining our dive cylinders,
Dräger brings 120 learners to the Aquarium per year as part of our Adopt-a-School programme.
