Sincere thanks to our corporate partners whose generosity and shared vision continues to enable us to foster love, respect and understanding of our oceans. Through these associations we are able to offer our visitors world-class exhibits, maintain the high standards of our educational facilities and realise a comprehensive community outreach programme.


Brightweights provides Aquarium divers with innovative weight belts for use in the exhibits, on collection and research trips and for our Adventure Dive Programme.

Swim like a fish with Brightweights in the Kelp or I&J Predator Exhibits. Adventure Dives are available to anyone with an Openwater One SCUBA qualification.



Founder partner I&J provides essential support to the Two Oceans Aquarium by providing food for the marine life on display in the Aquarium. I&J has also partnered with the Aquarium to produce a series of imaginative educational activity books provided free to those schools visited by our Outreach Programme.


Capestorm provides Aquarium aquarists with essential waterproof and outdoor gear for collection and research trips at sea.



In partnership with the City of Cape Town, the Two Oceans Aquarium opened Frogs-Beyond the Pond in October 2008. This themed and highly interactive gallery houses displays including the fully-automated Your Friend the Frog Puppet Show.




As a founder partner De Beers Marine has supported us in a variety of educational and conservation projects over the past decade. With De Beers Marine's support we have set up a Jellyfish Laboratory, educated Young and Junior Biologists in hands-on discovery workshops and reached hundreds of learners in the Port Nolloth and Kleinzee areas as part of our Outreach Programme.



Draeger provides the Two Oceans Aquarium with vital technical support and maintenance of our dive cylinders and equipment for diving in our exhibits and at sea. Draeger also assures the safety and quality of the dive cylinders used in our Adventure Dives in the Kelp Forest and I&J Predator Exhibits.




Afrisam is a founder partner of the Two Oceans Aquarium. Through Afrisam's ongoing support we are able to offer engaging arts & crafts activities in the Afrisam Children’s Centre. The Centre offers families the opportunity to spend quality time together enjoying pursuits which encourage innovation and creativity.



Immersion Dive Watches are exclusively worn by our aquarists in their day-to-day duties at the Aquarium. These dive watches include dive computers which allow wearers to log their dives.


Pathcare provides vital support to the Two Oceans Aquarium by providing us with free blood tests to enable us to monitor the health of our penguins. Pathcare also assists us in pathological research.



Reef Wetsuits provides us with high performance dive equipment to cater for the demands of our every day work. From wetsuits, hoodies and booties to gloves and bags, Reef wetsuits and accessories enable our aquarists to look great whilst getting the job done!


XXL generously sponsors the printing of the Aquarium's large format outdoor billboard facing Dock Road in the V&A Waterfront as well as the billboard at the entrance to the V&A Waterfront.



As a founder partner of the Two Oceans Aquarium, Sappi has contributed to the ongoing development of the Sappi River Meander Exhibit. It has also supported various education initiatives and our Reduce, Recycle and Re-Use Beach Clean-Up.


Eco Acrylics has sponsored several exhibits in the Aquarium including the highly popular interactive Nemo exhibit in the Oceans of Contrast -Indian Ocean Gallery.



The Save our Seas Foundation M-Sea Programme is a collaborative initiative between AOCA and the Aquarium. With SOS support we have tagged and released three ragged-tooth sharks as part of our efforts to gain information about this species and raise public awareness. This tri-annual publication carries informative articles on marine and environmental issues as well as keeping the public informed of developments within the Aquarium. The City of Cape Town shows continued support for environmental education, particularly in the spheres of waste and water management. To date, the City of Cape Town has enabled over 1,500 learners to learn more about the importance of the management of our natural resources.



In addition to maintaining our dive cylinders, Draeger shares our passion for environmental education and recently adopted 120 previously disadvantaged learners as part of our Adopt-a-School Programme.


During Marine Week the Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning enabled 720 learners to discover the wonders of our marine world in the Two Oceans Aquarium’s Environmental Education Centre.
