Winter warmer function package
Hosting a function in winter is not an easy task. During this time, finding a venue that not only provides the ideal setting, ambience and backdrop, but also keeps your guests mesmerised, can be challenging.
Beat the winter blues and warm up in the Two Oceans Aquarium by hosting your special dinner or cocktail party in this truly unique venue. The Aquarium is offering an exceptional “winter warmer” functions special from 1 June – 31 August 2013. This special package includes venue, meals (excluding beverages), staff costs and décor at R250 per person. Invite your guests to explore an underwater world of wonder and enchantment.
Dinners are hosted in front of the I&J Predator Exhibit. This magnificent exhibit opens a window into a world filled with ragged-tooth sharks, turtles, rays and shoaling fish. Dinner guests will not be at a loss for words as sharks slowly make their way past the 11m long main window into the exhibit. They will also see the underwater elegance of the rays, the shimmer of silver fishes and perhaps even be graced by the presence of the sea turtles which are housed in this exhibit.
The Aquarium’s in-house restaurant, Shoreline Café, provides the catering for all functions hosted at the Aquarium and will ensure that your guests not only have a delicious meal to enjoy, but they will also be able to enjoy it with a clear conscience. Shoreline Café serves only MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) accredited and SASSI (Southern African Sustainable Seafood Initiative) endorsed seafood.

Winter warmer conference package
Host your next conference in a truly unique and inspiring venue. Until 31 August 2013, the Aquarium is offering special winter warmer conference packages for half- and full-day conferences. The half- day package at R205 (excl VAT) per person is valid for conferences between 08:30 and 13:00 daily. The full-day conference package at R245 (excl VAT) per person is valid for conferences between 08:00 and 17:00 daily.
Both packages include all catering breaks, staff costs, mints, notepads, pens, jugs of water and access to the Aquarium (between 09:30 and 18:00) for conference delegates. The packages exclude any additional beverages and a minimum number of 20 delegates is required per booking.
The Two Oceans Aquarium offers conference organisers two equipped venues to choose from – the Think Tank Auditorium, and Tranquility. Read more about these venues here.
