Video: Helping a seal in need
By Two Oceans Aquarium / 3 February 2012
Last week, we told you about the work that Two Oceans Aquarium staff members are doing with injured seals at the V&A Waterfront. Simon Leigh then very kindly submitted this video, which he filmed while working with us during his holiday. It shows how Two Oceans Aquarium Assistant Technical Manager Vincent Calder’s special hook device is used to remove harmful noose-like items from seals. We love how happy the seal looks once it’s freed!

Thanks for submitting, Simon.
