In December 2013, the Two Oceans Aquarium hosted the last (and most popular) members sleepover of the year.
Each year we invite members at this sleepover to partner with the Aquarium to either spoil an old age home, an orphanage or to sponsor a school group to visit the Aquarium. This year, the staff of the Aquarium decided to support an animal-related need, the animals that are often forgotten during this time of the year, unintentionally!
The Two Oceans Aquarium recently hosted another of its very popular members’ events – the family sleepover, which took place on April 4.
At the Aquarium we often change with the tides, and on your next visit you’ll see some more changes taking place! The Ticket Office and Members’ Centre are in the process of being refurbished and rebranded as the Visitors’ Centre, which will open at the end of March, in time for the school holiday season.
School holidays are nearly here and it’s time to enjoy a fun-filled evening at the Aquarium on 4 April 2014!
Enjoy a treasure hunt and learn the art of papier-mâché using recycled materials, before watching a movie on our big-screen TV. Snuggle down in your sleeping bag under the watchful eyes of the ragged-tooth sharks, and when the sunlight starts to trickle through the water, rise and shine to meet the new day ... a yummy breakfast will be waiting at the Shoreline Café.
It really pays to become a member of the Aquarium – click here to read about the boatload of benefits that our Solemates enjoy.
Here are the first two members-only events for the year. Booking is always essential due to popularity, so please do get in touch if you are planning on joining us.
